Event Details
This session highlights the main opportunities and traps for the unwary in the new PA23 regime as we look forward to its implementation at the end of February. The PA23 does bring some good news – the Act allows more flexible procurement and the encouragement to manage contracts more carefully post procurement is also welcome. However, there are also traps which, if you are unprepared, may come back to bite you – particularly around the new selection regime and conflicts. This talk will be as interactive as possible, so please do bring your queries, concerns and thoughts to discuss.

I’m a partner, and provide advice on significant public sector and housing projects. I advise on joint ventures, outsourcing, public private partnerships and all aspects of development and asset management. My practice includes advising on the strategy for projects, suitable legal structures and project implementation.
I’ve advised both central government departments, local authorities, housing associations and charities on all aspects of regeneration, energy and asset related projects. My interests are very much in the practical side of projects, and try to bring a grounded approach to progressing projects. Bringing lasting and beneficial change for communities is something that really motivates me.
