Cybersecurity: An expert will share insights on the latest cybersecurity trends affecting procurement and supply chains, emphasizing strategies to mitigate risks associated with AI implementation.

The primary aim of this seminar is to explore the transformative role of AI in procurement and supply chain management. We seek to equip our members with insights into how AI technologies can enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve decision-making processes and impact cybersecurity within their organizations.

EVENT SPEAKER

Alex Chan 

General Manager, Digital Transformation 

Hong Kong Productivity Council 

Ir. Alex Chan, General Manager, Digital Transformation at HKPC, has over 20 years of experience in IT, specializing in consultancy, utilities, and telecommunications. Since joining HKPC in 2020, he has led units focused on industry consulting, digital enablement, and cybersecurity advisory. He also serves as the spokesperson for the Hong Kong Computer Emergency Response Team (HKCERT).

Before joining HKPC, Alex held an executive role at Accenture, where he focused on technology consulting for the utilities sector. He has a strong track record in managing projects related to digital transformation, IT strategy, and business process reengineering.

Apart from the working experience, Alex has active participations in local professional and trade associations including HKCS, HKIE, HKCAAVQ, PCPD, HKTDC, HKRMA and HKGCC.

Dr Alan Cheung 

Chief Director, AI & Trust Technologies 

HK Applied Science and Technology Research Institute Co. Ltd. 

Dr. Alan Cheung is the Chief Director of the Artificial intelligence and Trust Technologies division at ASTRI. He leads the division in driving ASTRI’s initiatives, particularly in the areas of FinTech and Smart City, with innovative applications such as generative AI, blockchain systems, cybersecurity, secure FinTech services, federated learning, risk assessment and multimedia data analytics.
