The University of Nairobi, School of Business in partnership with the CIPS Kenya Branch is organizing a student engagement forum to advise students from various universities in Kenya about careers, professional membership and certifications, importance of mentorship and a networking session. We shall have in attendance industry leaders, lecturers and professionals who shall share their experiences, research papers and white papers on the subject matter and address any questions that shall arise during the session. We shall have keynote speeches, panel discussions, an open Q&A session and a networking session.

Molly Kwamah
Business Development Lead for Global Programs, Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA)
Molly Kwamah is a seasoned supply chain and development specialist with vast experience in designing and implementing transformative development programs that deliver sustainable solutions and lasting impact for different communities globally. Ms. Kwamah is passionate about gender and social inclusivity as well as technology and climate change related issues.
She currently serves as a Business Development Lead for Global Programs at Mennonite Economic Development Associates (MEDA), a Canadian international NGO building business solutions for poverty alleviation and is also a part time lecturer at the University of Nairobi in Supply Chain Management, Operations and Project Management. Ms. Kwamah is passionate about impacting knowledge, challenging the status quo and spurring systemic change through strategic collaboration, design of transformative interventions that deliver innovative yet sustainable supply chains.
Joe Munoru
Chartered Procurement & Supply Chain Trainer and
Consultant
Is a Chartered Professional of Procurement & Supply Chain, Trainer, and Consultant at the Global
Academy for Procurement and Technology Management.
An accomplished Supply Chain & Logistics Practitioner, Consultant, Trainer & Coach, with African and
Asian Supply Chain experience, and a proven track record of developing people, implementing change,
and delivering business improvements.
Joe has a Procurement and Supply chain industrial career lasting 17 years plus, predominantly in both
public and private sectors; he has had the experience of the acquisition of most sorts of equipment and
services from complex to simple, from purchasing cards to private finance and partnering.
Also, with over 15 years of hands-on teaching and training, Joe has designed and presented workshops
in Africa, the Middle East, and Asia for clients in public and private sectors, embracing subjects of broad
procurement, Logistics, and strategic management nature commercial skills, project management, and
partnering.
His consultancy work includes analysis of business opportunities in the public and private as well as nonprofit making sectors with a domain in Procurement and supply chain strategic management for several
multinational and major local organizations in senior decision-making positions before venturing into
full-time Training, Coaching, and Consultancy. He has been teaching and consulting in Procurement and
Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Projects and program management in the mentioned
institutions of higher learning and Professional Training Institutes across the Middle East, Africa, and
Asia.
Joe has made many presentations for professional groups, and university professional associations and is
a long-standing assessor for both academic and professional Certifications awarding bodies. He has
widely been involved in various local curriculum development and professional teaching of both the local
and international professional Certifications as well as delivering professional educational programs on
values in public and private sectors in procurement and supply chain management, which he extends to
deliver bespoke coaching, tutorial and Consultancy services for an upskill clientele.
Dr Harley Kisyula Mutisya, PhD, OGW
Dr. Harley Kisyula Mutisya, PhD, OGW, is a highly accomplished expert in supply chain
management, with extensive experience across both the private and public sectors. His
expertise spans managing supply chain operations for manufacturing multinationals, where he
excels in optimizing logistics, inventory control, and procurement processes, as well as within
the public sector, where he focuses on supply chain governance, procurement proceedings, and
regulatory compliance.
Dr. Mutisya holds a PhD in Procurement and Supply Chain Management (University of
Nairobi), Master of Business Administration specializing in Procurement and Supply Chain
(University of Nairobi), and a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) specializing in
Procurement and Supply Chain Management (University of Nairobi).
As a Certified
Procurement and Supply Professional of Kenya (CPSP-K) and a Licensed Supplies
Practitioner, Dr. Mutisya is widely recognized for his ability to implement effective supply
chain strategies that drive efficiency and innovation.
In academia, Dr. Mutisya serves as a lecturer at the University of Nairobi, where he imparts
his wealth of knowledge to future professionals. His impact extends beyond teaching, as he is
also an accomplished trainer of trainers (TOT), specializing in warehousing, inventory
management, logistics, and disposal management. His training initiatives have empowered
numerous professionals in supply chain management.
