Procurement Act: What to look out for

Ricky Wallis the chair of the CIPS Surrey & Sussex branch is very pleased to announce that Gary Mander, a Senior Manager from the EY Supply Chain and Operations team, will be talking to my Branch in a webinar on Thursday 28th November at 18.00 about the Procurement Act. Gary will detail everything you need to know about the forthcoming Procurement Act helping you to be fully prepared for its implementation in February 2025. The target audience for this webinar ranges from lower level buyers to senior professionals at CPO level.

Gary Mander 

Procurement Transformation - Senior Manager

Gary is part of the Supply Chain and Operations team with EY, who specialises in procurement transformation and consulting. He has 15 years of experience across both public and private sector procurement. He holds an MBS in Strategic Procurement from DCU and is a 3 time National Procurement Award winner. Having worked as Procurement Manager for Iarnród Éireann for 8 years, Gary has successfully managed a number of high profile tender processes on behalf of the state, most notably in 2021 with the procurement of a new fleet of DART vehicles in conjunction with the National Transport Authority. Gary moved to EY in June 2022 and now advises clients on complex procurement processes, and procurement transformation projects
