The webinar looks to address procurement and logistics in the humanitarian space and best practices that one can leverage on in order to enhance efficiency, effectiveness and value for money.
We shall also be exploring how different humanitarian supply chain is compared to procurement in other sectors and also touch on emergency procurements to address the emergency situations.
We shall also look at how different it is in terms of budget whereby they utilise donor funds as opposed to say a profit organisation or public institution.

Ahmed Adam Abdallah
Deputy Director of Procurement, Parliamentary Services of Ghana
Ahmed Adam Abdallah currently serves as the Deputy Director of Procurement for the Parliamentary Service of Ghana. He is also a part-time lecturer in Supply Chain Management and the Executive Managing Director for Chakis Bridge Consult.
Ahmed is a PhD candidate in Supply Chain Management at the University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa. He also holds a Master of Science in Procurement and Supply Chain Management from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana and a Master of Commerce from the University for Development Studies, Ghana.
He is also a member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply
