Event Details
Secretary-General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres warned that “the era of global warming has ended” and “the era of global boiling has arrived.” (27 July 23). Although climate change is evident, “we can still stop the worst,” he said. One of the most impactful ways for organisations, both public and private, to stop the worst is to transition their fleets and support their suppliers to transition their fleets, to net zero.
Robert Buckland will look at the evolution of transport powered by fossil fuel alternatives, new trends in electric technology, the changing regulatory framework and the growth of various cost models for cars, buses and HGVs. He will also share Fulham Football Club's experience of transitioning from fossil fuel to electric vehicles.
This will be followed by a tour of the Fulham FC stadium with informal networking and refreshments.
Please note this is a CIPS Fellows only event. If you book to attend and you are not a CIPS Fellow, your booking will be cancelled.
