This event debates new strategies and approaches to maximising the value that can be found through procurement for a variety of organisations. Speakers are drawn from private and public spheres, with discussion from the Leeds Business school staff of the latest research and academic engagement in the area.

Gillian Askew
Director, Go4Growth
Gill Askew is a procurement professional by trade, a Chartered Fellow of CIPS, and has spent almost 30 years in Procurement in both private and public sector. She is also a long-standing small business owner and currently has a broad portfolio of activities, all united by a drive to embed social value and sustainability into procurement with a focus on widening participation for smaller organisations and helping to build resilience and sustainable growth in local economies. She is Director and Co-Founder of Go4Growth, a marketplace development organisation dedicated to helping smaller organisations and the voluntary sector to gain the knowledge, skills and tools required to be fully equipped to take part in public sector work. .
