EVENT SPEAKERS
Mel Eyley
Occupational Health Specialist, Severn Trent Water
Mel Eyley is part of the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team at Severn Trent. Within the team, Mel’s specialism is in Mental Health and Wellbeing. In 2015 Mel trained as a Mental Health Instructor with MHFA England and has since then delivered their courses to over 3,000 Severn Trent colleagues. Outside of Severn Trent Mel volunteers for a crisis text line. Utilising all these skills, Mel and the team have also developed bespoke Wellbeing training including the Stress & Resilience training we’ll be doing at the event.
This training will look at what Stress is, why we are so impacted by
Stress and what we can do about it. We’ll also explore the idea of
Resilience, what it is and how we can work on that. The interactive
session ends by looking at how we can ensure we look after our own wellbeing
and support others.
