Event Details

This event will provide an AirTanker company overview followed by a tour of the Aircraft Hangar including an insight into to the supply chain implications in a Public Finance Initiative Military and Civilian Airline.

The hangar tour will take place at the AirTanker HUB, within RAF Brize Norton which is a short distance from our Amy Johnson House.

This event has limited places and is open to CIPS members only to attend.

Bookings are open to UK Nationals only, a current passport will be required for entry into the RAF Brize Norton Base (for the hangar tour only).

Bookings will close end of Thursday 7th March

The event starts at 7:00pm with registration from 6:30pm GMT.

A buffet and refreshments will be provided.

Chris Hope

Head of Supply Chain, AirTanker Services Ltd

Chris is the Head of Supply Chain at AirTanker and has held a number of Supply Chain Management roles over the past 37 years across a number of sectors including Automotive OEM, Engineering, Scientific Instrumentation, Energy Management and defence. Key areas of interest are the use of innovation to reduce “Supply Chain Fragility” and increase sustainability

What is the Handling Charge for?

To ensure tickets are delivered safely and securely and to keep the price as low as possible for you, the ticket buyer, CIPS Events generally uses our E-ticket system unless otherwise stated.

For this service we charge a small Handling Fee to cover the debit/credit card processing fees, customer services, processing and distribution of tickets and our secure server costs. We always try to keep these costs to an absolute minimum. If you feel at any time that our prices are not fair or competitive we'd be happy to hear from you.

Delivery

If you have ordered physical paper tickets there is a further Delivery cost added to cover the delivery of your order through the Royal Mail network.

We always endeavour to keep these costs as low as possible to merely cover the costs of postage. We only charge you one Delivery cost per order so if there is a big group of you recommend purchasing larger amounts in one order.

When you purchase tickets through CIPS Events, the full face value of the ticket is shown. This price is the price set by the event organiser and we pay this full amount to the organiser without any deductions.
