EVENT SPEAKER
Ken Dyke
SDP Programme Director, Babcock International.
Ken is the Director of Nuclear Operations at Rosyth responsible for the Submarine Dismantling project that is meeting the MoD requirements for the safe, environmentally responsible disposal of UK defueled nuclear submarines that are no longer in service. Before joining Babcock in 2018 Ken spent 34 years in the Royal Navy as a Marine Engineer, training for and then managing the operation of the nuclear power plant and associated systems onboard Vanguard Class submarines. This was followed by a number of roles ashore including as Site Authorisee and Head of Establishment responsible for the Vulcan Naval Reactor Test Establishment on the North Coast of Scotland at Dounreay.
