Have your say! CIPS Future Strategy: MENA

CIPS is in planning mode as we look ahead to develop our future strategy.  A really important component of that is what our members want and need from us.

With that in mind we are delighted to invite you to a dedicated workshop session to have your say! These sessions will be run by your Membership Committee Representative, with members of the CIPS Executive team and Global Board of Trustees in support. Initially we are looking ahead 5 years, but we welcome the discussion.

Membership Committee Representative: Wael Safwat, FCIPS

With 27 years of international experience in procurement and supply chain management, Wael is a business executive, CPO, a shared services expert, and a sustainability leader. I currently lead the shared services, and sustainability practice for procurement across the Middle East at Accenture, a global management consulting firm.

He successfully delivered award-winning projects across various industries. Wael is a thought leader and board member of several international procurement and supply chain associations. Currently is Chair of CIPS MENA Fellows 

CIPS Executive: Liz Lees

Group Director - Membership, CIPS

Liz started her career at CIPS in 2003 setting up the first Public relations function within the marketing team.  Her role expanded over time to oversee PR ad external comms, Events and publishing.  In 2022 Liz took on the role as Director of Membership.
