Car parking is limited on site and we encourage car sharing and / or public transport wherever possible.
On arrival at site, please report immediately to reception. Unaccompanied access to other areas is strictly prohibited.
Please be aware that there are in excess of a 100 stairs and grilled walkways within the operational plant itself, and a reasonable level of fitness is needed to complete the full tour. Visitors with respiratory or cardiac conditions, or who suffer from vertigo, may struggle. Anyone who uses a walking stick or other mobility aid will unfortunately not be able to complete the tour.
For Health and Safety reasons, arms and legs must be covered for the site tour, and visitors will be required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment). Therefore, ladies should wear trousers as opposed to skirts or dresses. Sensible, flat, closed toe, lace up boots with a sturdy sole (eg walking boots, not trainers) must be worn. Alternatively, safety boots can be provided.
